Director of Transition and Aftercare
Sarah Engler, LCSW
After earning her B.S. in psychology from Brigham Young University Sarah studied social work and marriage and family therapy during graduate school at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Sarah is a licensed as a LCSW.
Since completion of her master's degree Sarah has worked exclusively in residential treatment as a primary therapist and assistant clinical director and most recently was the clinical director for a young adult transition program for young women.
Sarah has experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, grief and loss issues, addiction, as well as personality disorders. Sarah believes that a crucial component of human healing are the depth and health of the connections we experience with others. In addition to traditional talk therapy Sarah also seea experiential activities, particularly art, as a powerful therapeutic tool.
