Family Weekends occur every 8 weeks. Families come from around the country to be with their daughters, participate in reacreation activities, experiential therapy, family therapy, and parent instruction groups. Family Weekends give parents a three-day taste of what their daughters experience on a daily basis! Parents also meet with their daughters' teachers, rub shoulders with New Haven's administration, talk about medication and health issues with our nursing staff, and sit down with our Psychiatrist, when applicable.
