Conference Call Discussions
New Haven will now be holding bimonthly conference call discussions for alumni parents led by a New Haven therapist. These discussions are designed to address topics commonly of concern to alumni families. The conference call allows for support among families through the guidance of a New Haven therapist. An email is sent out a few days prior to the discussion with the phone number and access code for the call.
Alumni Weekends
Alumni Weekends are designed to have two annual gatherings of alumni families with New Haven employees. One Alumni event is planned off campus somewhere in the U.S. Past off campus weekends have been in Chicago and San Diego. The other alumni weekend happens on New Haven campus to allow families to come back and be with us in a familiar setting with more interaction with New Haven employees. These weekends include recreational therapy tasks, support groups, and time to reconnect with each other. This coming year's Alumni Weekends will be:

Alumni Parent Contact List
The Alumni coordinator will email you a list of Alumni parents who have been through the transition process themselves and are eager to assist other families transitioning home through support, advice or just a listening ear. They are listed by house, year transitioned and the state of their residence. Please do not hesitate to contact them during this potentially stressful time.
