Throughout your time at New Haven you will develop long lasting relationships with different therapists, teachers, and staff. We want you to stay connected to those individuals that have supported you throughout your journey. This is also an opportunity for you to check-in and report on how you are following through on the plans and goals you made while at New Haven.
New Haven holds at least two annual alumni events for families. This is an opportunity to reconnect with New Haven employees and other alumni families. These weekends often include recreational therapy tasks, support groups, and opportunities for individual and family sessions as needed.
On Campus Alumni Event
Our other alumni weekend occurs each year in June. These on campus events allow families to come back and be with us in a familiar setting, with more interaction with New Haven employees. This is a great way to reconnect with other alumni families and recommit to the values established while at New Haven.
Off Campus Alumni Events
One Alumni event is planned off campus somewhere in the U.S and one of those usually occurs in January or February each year. Some recent off campus weekends have been in Savannah, GA, New York City, NY and Tucson, AZ.
