Amanda Gray, LCSW

Amanda loves being part of the New Haven team. She was drawn to New Haven because she wanted to work with a well-established company with years of success in helping families heal.
Amanda earned her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah. She decided to become a therapist because of her passion for helping people, fascination with the mind and
human behavior, and having grown up in a family with personal experience in mental, behavior, and social issues.

Amanda believes in a systems approach and works with the understanding that nothing happens in isolation. She believes in partnering with individuals and families in a therapeutic
relationship, bringing in her professional expertise and believing people are the experts of their own lives. Amanda loves to support families in healing and thriving. Amanda believes in the
perspective of Irvin Yalom, a renowned psychotherapist who teaches to “invent a new therapy for every person.” Amanda tailors her method according to what is most helpful for each
individual and family. She is experienced in CBT, DBT, Mind-Body Bridging, Sand Tray Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and creative and expressive therapies.

Amanda is married and has a puppy she adores. She comes from a family of 4 girls who she is very close with. She loves to spend time with family and friends, be outdoors, hike, cycle, and travel.
