Ayelen Ysel Cisneros, TRS, CTRS

Ayelen gained her love of working with people at her very first job – a cast member at Disney World! Ayelen is empathetic and believes that is the secret to healthy and positive relationships. She feels conflict can be avoided and we can find inner peace when we look beyond ourselves and realize everyone is doing the best they can. Ayelen is funny and outgoing, but can have difficult conversations when necessary.  She is experienced in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and conflict resolution. She has been able to use all of these qualities when working with adolescents in various capacities. Ayelen attended Brigham Young University. Upon graduating she worked as a Student Life Mentor and Recreational Therapist at another residential treatment program prior to joining the New Haven team. Ayelen loves leisurely activities like reading, listening to music, watching movies and doing puzzles, but can also be found socializing, making food and playing with her dog in her spare time.
