Jackie Rodat, LMFT

Jackie is an empathetic leader and planner. She is always thinking ahead and striving to build strong relationships and teams . You can trust that she will be direct, honest and organized. She will also be playful, tenderhearted, and creative. 

Jackie studied Family Life Sciences in her undergrad at Brigham Young University. She then went on to receive her Masters degree from Kansas State University. Her experience working in a variety of levels of care including outpatient, intensive outpatient, therapeutic boarding school, and in residential care has given her invaluable insight into families experiences and challenges. She loves working with clients and their families in long term care because it gives her the opportunity to see the evolution of their change of heart and their healing journey. 

Jackie specializes in working with students and families that have faced Trauma, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She has had other experience working with a variety of disorders: ADD/ADHD, Adoption/Attachment, Adjustment Disorders, Spectrum Disorders, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress, Self-Harm, Sexual Abuse, and Substance Abuse. She has sought additional training in EMDR, Sandtray, Neurofeedback, Gottman methodologies (Level 1), T.E.A.M-CBT (Level 1) and as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner. 

Jackie believes working with the entire family system is essential for long-term change and results. She has always had a strong passion for working with children/adolescents and seeing them empower themselves to find their inner voice as their self-esteem grows.

In her free time, Jackie loves spending time with her family and her favorite role is being an Aunt! She loves sports of all kinds, football, basketball, tennis, and volleyball and is a BIG BYU fan! She also enjoys playing tennis, softball, and volleyball. Jackie loves to dive into family history, and world history, watching movies and musicals, cooking, baking, and loves a variety of music genres.
