Jared is a native of Spain where He learned to appreciate the value of relationships as an intrinsic part of his culture. Jared graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University-Hawaii and his Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Brigham Young University-Provo. Jared has worked professionally for the past 15 years with youth in diverse settings including outpatient, inpatient care as well as residential treatment. For the past 6 years, he has served as the lead Clinician for the County´s Youth Crisis response team addressing the needs of acute youth over a large geographical area. Jared brings a unique background to New Haven having lived and worked in a diversity of places throughout much of the world having practiced professionally in both Europe and the United States. In his spare time, he enjoys continuing to travel the world every chance he gets. He has visited 40 of the 50 States as well as 17 countries across 3 continents. He loves diving into each country’s culture and language and learning of their ways to experience life and what the world has to offer.
