Jennifer Van Adrighem

Jennifer joined New Haven as a teacher in 2021. She grew up most of her life in southern California before moving to Utah. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing at California State University, San Bernardino. Jen had a personal goal of joining the military and at the age of 26 she joined the Navy as a reservist and recruiter for a combined 9 years of service. During her military time, she earned a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration online, an Educational Specialist credential at the University of Redlands, and a MS in Education, Teacher Leadership. Jen has taught high school and middle school math, math for living, credit recovery, and Life Skills to students receiving specialized academic services in areas such as academic, social/emotional, and behavior. Her passion for teaching executive functioning skills and strength in building relationships led her to New Haven where she can cultivate, inspire, and motivate young adolescents to be their best version of themselves by learning positive self-awareness, flexible thinking, and self-monitoring, prioritizing, organization and task initiation/completion. Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 dogs, visiting family and the beach in California, attending concerts, cooking, and taking long walks.
