Tiffany is best described as intuitive, honest and passionate. She wants to be a voice for those who haven’t had one and will work to empower her clients to help shed the victim role that keeps them stuck. She believes that through healthy relationships and resilience that lasting change is possible.
Tiffany graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Autism Studies, from Utah Valley University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah.
Tiffany’s passion working with teens started early on as a youth counselor. Her experiences working with youth taught Tiffany the importance of laughter, play, living in the moment, empathy and building relationships. She’s learned to see the person beneath the behaviors. Tiffany worked in a therapeutic setting for children on the spectrum which taught her the beauty of thinking differently and perseverance. Tiffany grew as a therapist in this role by being able to see life through a different lens and noticing that the little things are important. Her experience in teaching social skills, leisure education, service, and experiential therapy have prepared her perfectly for New Haven’s relational environment.
Tiffany specializes in substance abuse, CBT, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), addiction, self- harm, trauma, mind-body bridging, humanistic therapy and mindfulness. Tiffany is certified as a Registered behavior technician and has received suicide prevention training, domestic violence training, TF-CBT training and is trained in working with clients through expressive therapy.
When Tiffany has free time you will find Tiffany outside where she loves to be with her husband and family. They love backpacking, camping, snowboarding, paddle boarding and is always up for trying something new, especially if it includes dessert!
