Jada was born and raised in the small town of Payson, Utah. She has an older and younger brother and a baby sister. Jada had a dream to attend Brigham Young University Hawaii since she was in the fourth grade; in 2005 she achieved that dream. She studied everything from surfing to pyschology, all the while exploring different cultures and ways of life. In 2009 she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She moved back home and fell in love with her wonderful husband, Kyle, and began working as a personal trainer. As a personal trainer, Jada served a population of women with very low self esteem and intense body image issues. This experience inspired her to pursue a career path that centered on serving and loving other’s despite their physical and/or emotional struggles. Jada is fulfilling that goal at New Haven.
Having herself struggled with depression during her adolescence, Jada brings passion, compassion, and hope to work with her every day. Jada will tell you that it was the love and support she received through meaningful relationships that kept her going through the dark times, and she is committed to providing that same relationship to her students at New Haven. Jada has been a part of the New Haven family since 2010 and believes that finding healing and connection in loving relationships is the key to every students’ success.
Jada’s passion doesn’t end at work! With interests in further education in athletic training to scrap-booking; competing in triathlons to practicing her bagpipes. She also has aspirations to expand her own family and to one day be the proud parent of a Great Dane, Jada is ever ambitious and living life to its fullest!
