Kelsey was born and raised all throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is the only girl in her family and she spent her childhood keeping up with her four older brothers. Kelsey attended Brigham Young University-Idaho, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in recreation management with an emphasis in therapeutic recreation. While at school, Kelsey found a passion for working with youth and helping others improve their lives. This passion led her to New Haven in January of 2013. Kelsey has worked in every residential position prior to becoming the Sacagawea house residential director. Connecting and building relationships with students is something that comes naturally for Kelsey, and New Haven has helped her love for youth grow even more. She also loves to spend time joking and bringing a playful approach to the students. One of the things she loves most about New Haven is the opportunity to work with and see a family grow as a whole alongside their daughter.
Outside of work, you can find Kelsey spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys being outside camping, backpacking, hiking and running, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. When not outside, you will most likely find Kelsey baking cookies in her home.
