Kris Archer

Kristen comes to New Haven after almost four years of direct care work at a home for teenage girls.  Kristen discovered her love for the mental health field while she and her husband worked as the live-in supervisors.  While there, Kristen was able to experience many different aspects of residential treatment.  She lead an educational group for the students, assisted in the marketing department, taught quarterly parent trainings, and hired, trained, and supervised residential staff.  More than anything, Kristen enjoyed being a witness of the healing process in the girls and their families, and she looks forward to being a part of New Haven’s family work.

Kristen has worked with children of all ages and backgrounds.  She taught diversity education for two years, and also earned two Gold Presidential Service awards for her work in elementary schools.  As soon as you meet Kristen, you will experience her bright, warm, and welcoming personality that allows her to connect with people of all ages and lifestyles.

Kristen loves spending time with her husband and three beautiful daughters.  She enjoys anything to do with arts & crafts, home decorating, and service.  Kristen is excited to join the New Haven team and be a part of our commitment to heal families.
