Bryanna grew up in the benches of Salt Lake City, Utah and has always desired to help others find joy and love within themselves. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology at Utah Valley University. During her college experience she spent most of her time taking classes and internships that taught her how to best serve those who are struggling due to abuse, attachment, and mental illnesses. During her summers she worked as a youth camp counselor and with physically and/or mentally ill adolescents.
All these experiences lead Bryanna to pursue more education with the goal of learning how to better serve others. Bryanna graduated from the University of Utah with her Master of Social Work degree. While completing this degree, Bryanna had the experience of working in adolescent residential treatment, outpatient therapy, and school counseling settings which brought her to evidenced-based treatment models such as TF-CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, play therapy, crisis intervention, systematic theories, and child welfare issues. She was drawn to New Haven because of her belief that young women can heal and find happiness in their lives through the safe therapeutic setting New Haven offers. Bryanna feels privileged to have the opportunity to work with a wonderful team at New Haven and to serve young women and their families. She enjoys being surrounded by family and friends, laughing, playing card games, zumba, and being active.
