Chris is originally from southern California and graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu with his master’s in clinical psychology and an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. Shortly thereafter he transplanted to Utah hoping to build a career helping youth and their families. He brings to us many years of working with families of kids with autism, depression, and anxiety. He is also ropes-course certified and has a year of experience working with horses and youth. At other programs, he helped to facilitate many ropes course groups, equine therapy groups and has participated in cross country groups. He enjoys taking the youth to local 5K and 10K races, and during one of these races won the fastest group award from the PowerHouse 10K Race up in Hobble Creek, Utah.
Chris joined the New Haven team with over nine years of experience working with adolescents. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist and has worked in numerous different therapeutic settings. Chris enjoys being outdoors, jogging, and hiking through the Utah mountains or biking some of its scenic trails. Chris also enjoys being with family and friends, horseback riding, and taking care of his four tortoises respectively named Spartacus, Andromeda, Cassiopeia and baby Prometheus.
