Stabilization & Assessment

Angel is known for her kind and outgoing personality, and anyone that knows her knows that she will get the job done because of her diligence and discipline. She has been working in the residential treatment field for many years. Several of those years have been specifically working in a Stabilization and Assessment program. This means that she is an expert in creating safe enrionments, and knows how to work quickly and effectively in times of crisis. She prides herslef in building good rapport with others, and making sure consistency and structure is maintained. Just prior to New Haven, Angel worked as a Manager and an Assistant Program Director for another residential facility. She now looks forward to getting to know our students by learning about who they are, supporting them in their struggles, teaching them new skills and helping them know that they are never alone.

Angel grew up in La Puente, CA and has lived in UT County for roughly 5 years. She is married and has 2 young boys. She graduated from Utah Valley University with an associate’s degree in Social Work and a bachelor’s degree in Family Science. She is currently attending Southern Utah University pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis on State and Local Government. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, playing with her sons, and watching Law & Order SVU.
