Anna holds both an undergraduate and a graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) with a Master of Science in Recreational Therapy and a minor in psychology. She specializes in communication skills and teambuilding for adolescents. During her academic career, Anna completed an internship at Utah State Hospital, working with adults with mental health disorders in a forensic unit. She has experience working with both older adults and youth, but her true passion is helping youth with mental health disorders. Anna loves the field of Recreational Therapy because it helps individuals learn new activities, strengthen social connections, and improve their overall quality of life.

Anna is a compassionate, vibrant, and organized team player who loves connecting with others. She welcomes everyone with open arms, ready to listen, help, and guide them through tough times. Anna values choosing courage over comfort and embracing vulnerability. She encourages people to live by their values and stay true to themselves, all while engaging in a variety of leisure activities. Her hope is to connect with each of her students and their families, showing them that they can overcome challenges.

In her free time, Anna enjoys staying active at the gym, taking walks, watching movies, reading, and enjoying good meals. She values quality time with her partner, family, and friends. Her favorite activity is making others laugh or sharing a good laugh with them!
