Eleanor Roosevelt House

Raie received her Bachelor’s degree in Family Science, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Utah Valley University. Raie’s studies helped her realize she wanted a career in residential treatment and began researching programs around the country. Raie ultimately chose New Haven because she loves the family focus and systemic work. Raie started her journey at New Haven in 2019 as a Residential Staff and Mentor and both the staff and students were thrilled to hear she would step in as the Residential Director a few years later. The highlight at New Haven for Raie is interacting with the students on a daily basis, she is kindhearted, trusting, empathetic, and always has a positive outlook. Raie is a hands-on teacher for her staff and understands how to support parents along their healing journey. When she’s not at New Haven, Raie loves to be outside, preferably with her hands in the dirt, in her yard or garden. She also enjoys camping when the weather is warm and when the season turns cold, she’s eager to snuggle up with a book, and her dog Oreo, by the fire. Raie loves playing games and spending time with her mostly adult children and husband of almost 25 years.
