Section 7: Education Phase Requirements

You must meet with your academic advisor before each Phase application. Your academic advisor will review the following requirements with you and will sign off each requirement in order for you to receive your Phase.

Expectation
This needs to be signed within the first 3 weeks of arrival

  • Review grades/transcripts
  • Complete Study Skills Survey
  • Set a new academic goal

Exploration
This needs to be signed within one week of applying

  • Grades need to be above a C- (70%) in all classes
  • Attendance needs to be at 90% or higher; no unexcused absences and tardies
  • Evaluate the previous goal and set new academic goal

Insight
This needs to be signed within one week of applying

  • Grades need to be above a C- (70%) in all classes
  • Attendance needs to be at 90% or higher; no unexcused absences and tardies
  • Evaluate the previous goal and set new academic goal

Integrity
This needs to be signed within one week of applying

  • Grades need to be above a C- (70%) in all classes
  • Attendance needs to be at 90% or higher; no unexcused absences and tardies
  • Evaluate the previous goal and set new academic goal

Interdependence
This needs to be signed within one week of applying

  • Review grades/finalize transcripts
  • Completed Standardized Academic test
  • Create a study skills plan for your schooling after New Haven
