From the beginning, New Haven has been <strong>first<\/strong> in establishing patterns of care that are now widely followed. Parents are expected to be part of the therapeutic process and will work alongside their child during the course of treatment.<\/p>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>Relationship-Based<\/h5><p>All therapy is relationship-based, not focused on behavioral modification. We want to build genuine relationships and model healthy behaviors so that our students can live more connected lives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newhavenrtc.com\/treatment-program\/clinical-approach\/#relationships\">Learn More<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\t<\/ul>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>Family Weekends<\/h5><p>Families will participate in intensive family workshops every 8 weeks.<\/p><\/li>\t<\/ul>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>Family Healing Program<\/h5><p>Our Family Healing program was uniquely created to invite each individual in the family to the healing process. Each phase of the program invites the system to learn and make changes that will help support long term success.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newhavenrtc.com\/family-healing-program\/\">Learn More<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\t<\/ul>\n<h3>\n\t\tThe Team\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>Staff Ratio<\/h5><p>Our staff to student ratio is the highest in the nation. This allows us to keep our students safe while allowing them space to grow as they progress through the program.<\/p><\/li><li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>Treatment Team<\/h5><p>Our treatment team consists of representatives from each department of our school (clinical, recreational therapy, academic, residential, and nursing) and they will talk about the progress of each student and family EVERY week. This helps us to stay on track with our therapeutic goals, and get your daughter back home as soon as possible.<\/p><\/li><li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>Personal Mentors<\/h5><p>Each student will have a residential staff mentor to work with outside of therapy to practice new skills such as asserting her needs, conflict resolution &#038; personal responsibility. We will help them regain their confidence, enhance their executive functioning skills, and get back on track for college.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newhavenrtc.com\/college-prep\/\">Learn More<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\t<\/ul>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>AP &#038; Honors Courses<\/h5><p>New Haven is the only RTC that has AP Courses taught in a live classroom setting. Our hope is that our students can find something they are passionate about that they can carry with them when they return home.<\/p><\/li><li>\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<h5>Animals<\/h5><p>We have LOTS of animals on campus to provide support and companionship.
