Allysa is best known for being a communicator! She loves to make sure everyone knows what is going on. She is assertive, but tactful, authentic and genuine in her approach. She is accepting and inviting of all people and often helps them feel comfortable in any situation. Allysa believes that at the core of all humans is the need to feel loved. Her goal is to find a way to show all of the families and individuals that she works with, that the love and strength they have within themselves will build stronger connections in all relationships and build independent human beings.
Allysa received her BS degree from Brigham Young University. She is a certified recreation therapist and ropes course certified. She also has additional training in resiliency, leisure awareness, well-being, trauma informed care, and family relations. Allysa has worked in skilled nursing facilities as well as in the residential treatment setting for over 11 years.
If Allysa isn’t busy at work, she loves to be with her husband and 4 children. She enjoys attending sporting events, especially for her own children, but also loves to cuddle up and watch movies or bake with her kiddos. On her own, she likes to draw, doodle, and write, or be outside hiking.
