Kanon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2021. He has explored various career avenues including sales and recruiting but has spent the majority of his professional career in the psychology field with a focus on mental health and behavioral mediation.
Before coming to New Haven, Kanon worked at another treatment facility as a mentor for teenagers. It was here that Kanon realized his affinity for helping adolescents improve their lives by focusing on insight, building healthy relationships, and motivating them through rough patches. Kanon’s work ethic and innovative mindset led him to other positions as Manager, Trainer, and Assistant Program Director.
Kanon was born and raised in Idaho and describes himself as a proud Idahoan. He has lived in the beautiful Utah County area since 2014. Kanon loves the outdoors and finding new adventures doing things like backpacking, skiing, and camping. He and his gorgeous wife have been married since 2018 and have two incredible sons.
